Hafiza, a family owned restaurant first opened its doors almost 30 years ago today in Kosmas, Greece. This small, street-side restaurant was always filled with laughter, warmth, and energy. As kids, we grew up dashing in and out of the restaurant serving dishes by the minute. Eventually, we were able to become a Michelin Star Restaurant! Following dreams and the love for the mountains, we decided to relocate to Boone, North Carolina to continue our journey.
The name of our restaurant, Hafiza, means memories in Turkish. We believe that every bite of our food will take you back to your childhood. It’ll take you back to late nights awake playing board games with your family. It’ll take you back to your high school friends. It’ll take you back to the first time you finally learned how to ride your bike.
Hafiza isn’t all about memories either. Our mission is to promote sustainable and organic practices. As a business that has always been deeply rooted in our community, encouraging such practices is vital to us. Hence, at Hafiza, we promise that every bite of food you take is environmentally conscious.
